We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the operating room to ensure that we continue to provide all patients with high quality, efficient care. This role requires a commitment to high standards and collaboration with the surgical services team.

Responsibilities

• Understand aseptic technique and maintain a sterile field during procedures or patient prep.
• Determine appropriate areas to prep for different types of procedures.
• Assess the patient prior to surgery, confirm understanding of the procedure and conduct a “timeout” with the peri‑operative team.
• Demonstrate teamwork, adapt to changes, and serve as a resource to the surgical services team.
• Deliver quality nursing care services and promote a positive image of nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing; BSN preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience as an RN in an operating room setting.
• Current RN license in Texas or multi‑state compact license (must obtain Texas RN license within 90 days of hire).
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• CNOR certification preferred.
