Job summary

The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH seeks an experienced OR RN to support a busy weekend-friendly schedule in our Main Campus Operating Room.

You will circulate and scrub, collaborate closely with anesthesia staff and surgeons, and contribute to a high‑reliability, patient-centered OR team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current RN licensure in Ohio.
• Current AHA Basic Life Support for the healthcare provider certification or obtained within 90 days of hire.
• PRN requires 1 year of relevant RN experience.
• PRN must possess all required certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Circulating and scrubbing in the operating room.
• Collaborate with anesthesia staff and surgeons.
• Support team-based nursing in a high-volume OR.

Biweekly Hours: 48.00

Shift: Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 0700 - 1930, 1900 - 0730 (Weekender Program)

Primary Patient Population

• Variety of procedural cases (Elective to Emergency/Trauma)

Primary Skills Utilized/learned

• Circulating

Personnel RN Will Work With

• Surgical Technicians, Anesthesia staff, Surgeons

Number Of OR Suites/Cases

• 20 Operating Room Suites
• Performs 40-50 surgical cases daily

Required Qualifications
