Job summary

Soliant is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with OR expertise for a surgical nursing contract in the Pittsburgh area. You will provide comprehensive care before, during, and after surgery, while coordinating with surgeons and other OR staff to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes.

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years OR RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery
• Monitor patients and quickly respond to changes in condition during procedures
• Prepare and maintain the operating room with necessary surgical equipment and sterile supplies
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Carefully document patient information, surgical activities, and observations in compliance with regulations
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care, addressing questions and concerns
• Uphold strict principles of aseptic technique and infection control throughout procedures
• Participate in ongoing process improvements to ensure the highest quality of care

Required Qualifications And Skills
