Job Description

Position Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides professional, comprehensive nursing care for patients in an acute care environment. Responsible for delivering coordinated, safe, compassionate, evidence-based care to patients and families, addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual needs throughout the lifespan. Practices in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, ANA Code of Ethics, and applicable standards.

Education, License & Certification: RN license in the state of practice, BSN preferred, BLS certification required, ACLS and PALS dependent on unit. Specialty certification preferred.

Experience: At least one year of nursing experience or transition from NLRN program. Must meet unit-specific educational requirements and maintain certifications.

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Develop and update care plans to optimize patient outcomes.
• Communicate patient condition effectively.
