Job summary

Munson Healthcare in northern Michigan is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room on the Day Shift. You will join a collaborative nursing team delivering patient-centered care in a high-stakes OR setting.

The role requires Michigan RN licensure and offers a full-time schedule (37.5 hours/week) with a 4x10s shift pattern, Monday through Friday, plus on-call weekends approximately every 5th to 6th. A $9,000 sign-on bonus applies with a 2-year commitment.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the State of Michigan.
• Experience in the OR preferred.
• Full-Time schedule: 37.5 hours/week with 4x10s, Mon–Fri 7:00 AM–5:00 PM; approximately every 5th to 6th weekend on-call.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care as part of a collaborative nursing team.
• Assess, monitor, and stabilize patients in emergent situations.
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members.

What’s Required

Approximately every 5th to 6th weekend on-call - **30-minute call response time requirement**
This position is eligible for a $9,000 sign-on bonus with 2-year employment commitment to Munson Healthcare! Terms and conditions apply.
