Job summary

SCA Health in Naples, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room. You will promote the mission and provide perioperative patient care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure, graduation from an accredited program, and OR experience. BLS/ACLS are required; PALS if pediatric care is included. Perioperative certification is a plus, and you will contribute to safe, efficient perioperative care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS.
• PALS required if pediatric care is included within 90 days or documentation of PALS.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA.
• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative patient plan of care.
• Serve as a member of a multidisciplinary team in planning perioperative patient care.

• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
