Job summary

SCA Health is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) for the Operating Room to support perioperative patient care at our facility. The role involves promoting the organization’s mission and working within a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high‑quality perioperative services.

Qualified candidates have an accredited nursing degree, current state RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS (and PALS if pediatric care is part of the scope) within 90 days of employment. A perioperative nursing specialty is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of employment or current BLS on file.
• ACLS certification required within 90 days of employment or current ACLS on file.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included within 90 days of employment or current PALS on file.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.

• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
