Job summary

SCA Health in California is seeking a perioperative nurse to promote our mission and deliver patient-centered perioperative care across the patient journey.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, develop individualized perioperative plans, and assess patient status. Requires nursing degree, state licensure, BLS/ACLS/PALS as applicable. Comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Active nursing license in good standing.
• BLS certification completed within 90 days of employment.
• ACLS certification completed within 90 days of employment.
• PALS certification required if pediatric care is included in scope within 90 days of employment.

• One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
