Job summary

SCA Health is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Operating Room team in a dynamic perioperative setting. You will support patient care across the perioperative continuum, collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff, and help ensure high standards of safety and quality in a fast-paced ambulatory environment.

The ideal candidate has OR nursing experience, active state RN licensure in good standing, and current BLS/ACLS (PALS if pediatric care is included).

Qualifications

• One year OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure in good standing.
• BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications as required within stated timelines.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode of care.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care.

• Graduate of anaccreditedschool of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current statenursinglicensure to practice ingood standings.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS)course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
