SCA Health in Naperville, IL is seeking a perioperative nurse to uphold our mission and values. You will assess patient status throughout the perioperative episode and develop individualized plans of care as part of a multidisciplinary team.

You will promote the mission, participate in planning perioperative care, and ensure high-quality, patient-centered outcomes. Requires nursing degree, active state license, and BLS/ACLS; PALS if pediatric care is included.

Competenze

• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standing.
• BLS within 90 days of employment or valid certification.
• ACLS within 90 days of employment or valid certification.
• PALS required if pediatric care is within facility scope.
• Specialty perioperative nursing certification preferred.

Responsibilities

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.


• One year of OR and/or medical / surgical nursing experience preferred.


• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.


• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.


• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.


• Successful completion of Pediatric Advance Life support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.


• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
