Job summary

SCA Health in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to support the Operating Room team. The RN will assess patients, develop perioperative care plans, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality perioperative care.

Ideal candidates have OR or medical/surgical nursing experience, current RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS (PALS if pediatric care is involved). This role offers competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• One year of OR and/or medical/surgical nursing experience preferred.
• Current state nursing licensure to practice in good standings.
• Successful completion of Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of employment or documentation of current BLS certification.
• Successful completion of Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Course within 90 days of employment or documentation of current ACLS certification.
• Successful completion of Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) course is required when pediatric care is included in the facility scope of services within 90 days of employment or documentation of current PALS certification.
• Specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
