Job summary

IntelliResume is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care in Hackensack, NJ, working with an interdisciplinary team to achieve desired outcomes. This full-time, day-shift role lives at Hackensack Meridian Health.

The RN will collect data, conduct age- and disease-specific assessments, and develop and implement a care plan. Requirements include NJ RN license and BLS/CPR within 60 days, with BSN in progress encouraged.

Qualifications

• Associate in Nursing or diploma required.
• BSN in progress within three (3) years of hire.
• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR Nurse Residency Program.
• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association within 60 days of hire.
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient’s health or situation.
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessments independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify variables in patient/family education needs based on age and disease.
• Develop a plan of care that prescribes strategies and interventions.
• Coordinate and implement the plan of care with the healthcare team.
• Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Implement age and disease-specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
• Administer medications utilizing bar-scanning technology.

Requirements
