• Six months of nursing experience or participation in Nurse Residency Program.
• Current and valid RN license in New Jersey.
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Collect comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation.
• Perform age- and disease-specific assessment/data collection independently.
• Recognize clinical and diagnostic status changes in patient status.
• Identify education needs based on age and disease for patient/family.
• Develop a plan of care with strategies and interventions.
• Communicate, coordinate, and implement the plan of care.
• Provide ongoing communication with patient/family and healthcare team.
• Implement age- and disease-specific care in an organized manner.
• Perform continuous point-of-care electronic documentation.
• Administer medications utilizing bar-scanning technology.

Education

Associate in Nursing or Diploma in Nursing

What You'll Do

• Perform continuous Point-of-Care electronic documentation.
• Administer medications utilizing advancements in bar-scanning technology.

Requirements

Education

• Associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree required
• BSN in progress and/or willing to acquire within three (3) years of hire

Experience

• Six (6) or more months of relevant nursing experience OR participation in Nurse Residency Program

Licenses & Certifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse license in New Jersey
• BLS/CPR certification by American Heart Association required within 60 days of hire
• National Certification in area of specialty preferred when eligible
