Job summary

Personal Touch Home Health Care Services Inc. in Chicago is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time day shift from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with on-call responsibilities including evenings, nights and weekends.

You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for individuals and families, using the nursing process. The role emphasizes evidence-based practice, staff supervision, safety, and ongoing professional development, with shift/holiday pay, incentive programs, and

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited nursing program.
• Valid IL RN license, CPR/BLS, with ACLS, PALS, NRP within 90 days.
• At least one year of experience as a staff nurse; strong communication and supervisory skills.
• Reliable transportation for floating between facilities.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process to assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for patients and families.
• Maintain competency aligned with current standards and integrate evidence-based practices.
• Contribute to professional development of peers, promote safety, and supervise staff in patient care.
• Document thoroughly and timely, and perform other duties as needed.
