Seattle Children's seeks an experienced OR Circulator to join our team for a 1.0 FTE Day position, 10 hour shifts.
No pediatrics experience? No problem! If you have experience working with adult populations, we will provide training on working with pediatric patients and their families while leveraging the adult RN experience you already have. We will personalize an orientation just for you to set you up for success in the pediatric specialty you are hired for.
Seattle Children's has grown! In 2022, we opened 8 new Operating Rooms, giving the organization a total of 22 surgical sites. Designed in collaboration with Doctors and Nurses, these new perioperative suites will provide unparalleled levels of patient and staff safety and comfort. If you are an experienced Operating Room Circulator and seek access to development opportunities, a comprehensive portfolio of all surgical specialties, and an enviable culture of collaboration between specialties and teams, we want to hear from you! This is a 1.0 FTE Day position, 10 hour shifts. We provide care to newborns-adults in the following services: Cardiovascular, Neurosurgery, Cranio facial, Robotics, Plastics, Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Urology, General Surgery, Gynecology, Dental/Oral, Orthopedics including Complex Spine, Transplant and Ortho-oncology. In accordance with House Bill 1155 (effective January 1, 2020), the following areas have clinical unpredictable needs and as a result will have a call obligation within their nursing positions: Apheresis, Cardiac Cath Lab, Dialysis, ECMO, Home Care Services, Imaging Services (including GI Procedures), Perioperative Services, and Transplant Coordinators.
Compensation: $46.21/hr-87.18/hr
Required
- Active Washington State RN license
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
- One year of perioperative nursing experience or successful completion of a perioperative course and 6 months of additional RN circulating experience
- Current BLS (American Heart Association Health Care Provider, American Safety and Health Institution Professional Level or American AED/CPR Association - Professional Rescuer)
- Pediatric Advance Life Support (PALS) is mandatory within 90 days of hire (training provided during orientation) and must be maintained as current thereafter
Compensation Range
$47.60 - $89.80 per hour
Salary Information
This compensation range was calculated based on full-time employment (2080 hours worked per calendar year). Offers are determined by multiple factors including equity, skills, experience, and expertise, and may vary within the range provided.
