Job summary

Aura Health is seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse to deliver high-quality, compassionate surgical care in a busy hospital setting. You will work across general surgery, orthopedics, spine, open-heart, vascular, plastics, and pediatrics.

You will lead patient care in collaboration with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams, develop and evaluate care plans, administer medications, and respond to emergencies as part of a close-knit OR team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program with an active RN license.
• Preferred one year of relevant experience.
• Strong assessment, communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead patient care by collaborating with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized care using evidence-based practices.
• Administer medications, start IVs, perform dressing changes, transport patients, and respond to emergencies (CPR).
• Continuously evaluate patient progress and modify care plans.
• Delegate tasks, follow nursing standards, and participate in quality improvement.
• Foster positive team relationships and mentor colleagues.

Seeking an Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse to provide high-quality, compassionate surgical care in a busy hospital setting supporting diverse specialties such as general surgery, orthopedics, spine, open-heart, vascular, plastics, and pediatrics.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Leading patient care by establishing personalized relationships and collaborating with surgeons and interdisciplinary teams.
• Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans using evidence-based practices.
• Performing nursing duties such as medication administration, IV starts, dressing changes, patient transport, and emergency responses like CPR.
• Continuously evaluating patient progress, modifying care plans, and ensuring documentation and communication are accurate and timely.
• Delegating tasks appropriately, practicing according to nursing standards, and participating in quality improvement and professional development.
• Building positive team relationships, mentoring colleagues, and resolving conflicts constructively.
