Job summary

AdventHealth in Glendale Heights, IL is seeking a Registered Nurse to assess patients, develop and implement care plans, and administer treatments in a full-time daytime role.

The position requires an Associate's in Nursing (Bachelor's preferred), at least 1 year of medical-surgical experience, and strong English communication skills. Candidates will work within an interdisciplinary team and maintain detailed patient records.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal skills and compassionate care for patients and families.
• Ability to work independently under physician and management direction.
• Proficient with equipment such as IV pumps and point-of-care devices.
• Proficient English language for clear documentation and communication.
• Minimum 1+ year medical-surgical experience; surgery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Description:

• Assess patient conditions and needs through comprehensive evaluations to develop individualized care plans.
• Develop and implement patient care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, ensuring comprehensive and continuous care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely according to prescribed protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress continuously, adjusting care plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
