Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care to assigned patients using the nursing process and to supervise a care team in collaboration with multidisciplinary staff.

Candidates must graduate from an accredited nursing program, hold or be eligible for a Texas nursing license, and have BLS certification; a BSN is preferred. At least 6 months RN experience is required.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: at least 6 months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).
• Direct and supervise other assigned team members and collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Communicate clearly to promote patient safety and quality care.
