Job summary

Methodist Health System, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Operating Room in Dallas, Texas. The position is part-time with a PRN shift. The RN will deliver professional nursing care and support the mission and goals of the health system.

The ideal candidate will have nursing experience, valid Texas nursing license, and BLS certification. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a team are essential, as well as a commitment to patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Six months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Assume responsibility for the patient/family educational process.
• Create and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients.
• Ensure complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.

Skills

Current Basic Life Support Certification

Six months RN experience

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
