Job summary

HCA HealthONE Centennial is seeking an experienced OR Registered Nurse to join our Surgical Services team in Colorado. You will be an integral part of a highly collaborative interdisciplinary environment, contributing to patient care and operational efficiency across perioperative areas.

You will ensure proper setup for procedures, maintain stock and equipment, and rotate to other areas as competency allows. BLS, ACLS, PALS, and CNOR considerations are part of ongoing development.

Qualifications

• Current licensure in Colorado as RN or multi-state license.
• BLS certification.
• Graduate from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred.
• At least 1 year perioperative (OR) experience as Circulating RN.
• ACLS and PALS certifications within 6 months of hire.
• CNOR preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for each procedure by ensuring adequate stock and equipment.
• Assist with post-procedure workload and room turnover.
• Teach, supervise, and serve as a resource for staff.
• Rotate to areas other than OR as competency allows.
• Contribute to interdisciplinary Surgical Services team.

Here is some of what you can expect from being anORRegistered Nurse with us:

• You will bring your OR Nurse specialized skills to servespecific age groups, which may include adult, adolescent, geriatric, or pediatric populations.
• You will preparefor each procedure and/or surgery by ensuring there is adequate stock, andappropriate equipmentavailable in areas as assigned.
• You willassistwith post procedure workloadincludingcleaning room between procedures, putting away all unused supplies & setting up for the next procedure.
• You will teach, supervise, and serve as a resource person anddelegatesin accordance withthe competency level of all staff members.
• Youmay rotate to areas other thanOR, andwill perform only those duties that you havedemonstrated competency.

What qualifications you will need:

• Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multi-state Registered Nurse license.
• Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.BSN preferred.
• One(1) yearminimumexperience in the perioperative(OR) setting isrequired as a Circulating RN.
• ACLS and PALS certificationwithin 6 months of hire.
• CNOR preferred.
