Job summary

Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center is seeking a Registered Nurse, Operating Room, to deliver nursing care during surgical procedures in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. The RN will position, prep, and circulate cases, ensuring patient safety and efficient operative flow.

Qualified candidates hold an active RN license, graduate from an accredited RN program, and have intra-operative experience (1 year). A sign-on bonus of $7,500 is offered plus comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• One year experience required intra-operative setting
• Demonstrates clinical competency, leadership, and teaching capabilities
• Physically and emotionally capable of performing responsibilities of position

Responsibilities

• The RN operating in the OR provides nursing care during surgery cases
• Positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case
• Experience in Orthopedics and Sports Medicine procedures

Registered Nurse Operating Room at Bethesda Chevy Chase Surgery Center:

The Registered Nurse, operating room, provides nursing care and service during surgery cases. The RN will be responsible for positioning the patient, prepping the patient, and circulating the case. Experienced in surgical procedures in the following specialties: Orthopedics, Sports Medicine.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center

Salary Range: $39.93-59.90. Wages are determined based upon a number of factors including, but not limited to, an individual’s qualifications and experience.
