Regions Hospital in Saint Paul, MN is seeking an experienced RN to work in a .9 FTE day shift Infusion Clinic. You will provide professional nursing care including assessment, planning, implementation, follow-up, and evaluation in collaboration with oncology specialists.

In the infusion room you will administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, blood products and other IV medications while coordinating with physicians, inpatient, homecare and hospice teams to address patient needs and support

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing with one year of RN experience.
• One year hospital nursing or equivalent experience.
• At least one year in oncology care or outpatient oncology clinic setting or infusion therapy experience.
• Per Diem requires minimum of 3 years (6240 hours) RN experience.
• Current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification or willingness to obtain within 2 years of hire.
• Current ONS/ONCC Biotherapy and Chemotherapy certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months with 36 cancer-related CE hours.
• Registered Nurse license in Minnesota and Wisconsin (or in-process within 6 months).
• BLS through AHA certification.

Work Schedule

Mon-Fri Infusion hours:

0730-1700

Float to site who has the greatest need.

Required Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing with one year of RN experience OR completion of a bachelor’s degree in nursing OR master’s degree in nursing.
• One year hospital nursing or equivalent experience.
• At least one year in oncology care or outpatient oncology clinic setting OR at least one year of infusion therapy experience.
• Per Diem requires minimum of 3 years (6240 hours) of RN experience.At manager’s discretion, relative related experience may preclude 3-year minimum nursing requirement for per diem.
• Effective 1/1/26 and forward: Current Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN) certification or willing to obtain within 2 years of hire
• OR
• Current ONS/ONCC Biotherapy and Chemotherapy certification or willingness to obtain within 12 months ALONG WITH successful completion of 36 cancer-related continuing education nursing contact hours for each Commission on Cancer 3-year accreditation cycle (tracked by dept).
• Registered Nurse license in the state of Minnesota
• Registered Nurse license in the state of Wisconsin (or received within 1 year of hire or have documentation showing it is in-process within 6 months of hire).
• BLS through AHA certified program.

Preferred Qualifications

• Recent experience in chemotherapy administration preferred.
• Oncology Certified Nurse (OCN)
• ONS/ONCC Biotherapy and Chemotherapy certification
