Job summary

AdventHealth in Shawnee Mission, Kansas, is seeking a Full Time RN to evaluate patient care and outcomes, directing nursing personnel on dedicated shifts and ensuring timely physician orders with accurate documentation.

The role requires RN licensure (EV Accredited Issuing Body) with ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications. You will mentor staff and use electronic quality tools to improve treatment plans and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's of Nursing (Required).
• Bachelor's of Nursing
• Master's of Nursing; ACLS - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
• BLS - CPR Cert (BLS) - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
• PALS - RQI Resuscitation Quality Improvement
• RN - EV Accredited Issuing Body

Responsibilities

• Evaluates quality of patient care and outcomes based on administered treatments.
• Directs and coordinates nursing personnel activities on designated shifts, overseeing staff and patient care.
• Assures real-time documentation, including review of task lists and prompt initiation and sign-off of physician’s orders.
• Advises nurses on the appropriateness of calling physicians.
• Assists staff in using electronic quality management tools to evaluate treatment plans and ensure quality outcomes.
