Job summary

Mosaic Life Care is seeking an RN Inpatient to join our clinical team. You will assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care under leadership, directing co-workers in care plans and ensuring safe, effective outcomes for diverse inpatient populations.

Required is RN licensure with state licensure/compact, BLS within 90 days, ACLS if inpatient; BSN preferred. We value collaboration, compassionate service and ongoing professional development at Mosaic Life Care.

Responsibilities

• Completes assessment/reassessment of patient and documents in medical record.
• Analyzes the information collected to determine patient’s needs and expected outcomes.
• Develops and implements plan of care based upon the assessment, diagnosis, and expected outcomes of patient.
• Oversees the delegation of the plan to other licensed and unlicensed personnel.
• Ensures a discharge plan is a part of the individualized plan of care as appropriate to the population served.
• Engages in patient/family/staff teaching to achieve the desired patient outcomes.

Work Experience

• Prior clinic or hospital experience - Preferred

Licenses and Certifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) - State Licensure/Or Compact State Licensure - State Licensure/Or Compact State Licensure in state, depending upon designated work location - Required Upon Hire
• Basic Life Support (BLS) - Required within 90 Days
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) - IF working in an inpatient area in which ACLS is required within 90 Days

Travel Requirements

• Must be able to travel between various system facilities and off-site locations as needed. - Required

• Ability to give injections, administer medications, change dressings; fine motor skills, eye/hand coordination, answer phone, data entry.

Essential Physical Requirements

• Must walk, move, kneel, crouch, stoop, reach, stand, push, pull, and lift, speak clearly Must follow good body mechanics.

• Ability to collect thorough information regarding patient\'s condition and evaluate effects of care.
• Problem solve, manipulate numbers, be adaptable, interpret data, perform calculations, comprehend verbal and written communication, explain information, possess good short and long-term memory.

Essential Sensory Requirements

• Ability to visually assess patient condition; must be able to communicate with patient in order to assess condition and evaluate effects of care. Visual, hearing, feeling, smell.

Exposure to Hazards

• Frequent exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, blood and body fluids, needle sticks and other conditions common to a medical environment.
