Job summary

Park Nicollet Health Services in Minnesota is seeking an on-call Registered Nurse to join the outpatient Plastic Surgery team in St. Louis Park with coverage across Maple Grove and Burnsville as needed.

This RN role focuses on direct patient care in ambulatory settings, coordinating and supervising care, and applying the nursing process.

Qualifications

• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License.
• BLS provider status in accordance with American Heart Association guidelines.
• ACLS and PALS Certifications required (or willing to obtain within 3 months).
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related growth and development principles necessary to provide appropriate service and assure safety of patients.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in ambulatory settings as part of the Plastic Surgery team.
• Coordinate and supervise patient care provided by assistive personnel where applicable.
• Apply the nursing process (assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation, evaluation) per Park Nicollet policy.

Registered Nurse, Outpatient Plastic Surgery On-Call

Position Summary:

Be part of our Plastic Surgery Team in St. Louis Park/Maple Grove/Burnsville with occasional travel as needed.

We are looking for team members to support our growing services, with opportunities to provide patient care in Plastic Surgery clinic. We have a fast-paced environment. Our team is looking for candidates with a positive outlook and ability to work well on a team.

This role will provide direct patient care in ambulatory settings. Patient care may be a direct activity of the RN, or it may be to coordinate and supervise patient care provided by assistive personnel. Utilizes a systematic approach to nursing practice incorporating assessment, planning, nursing diagnosis, implementation and evaluation in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, recognized professional standards and Park Nicollet Health Services policy.

Required Qualifications:

• Valid Minnesota Registered Nurse License
