Job summary

Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute (FCS) in Brooksville, FL seeks a licensed Registered Nurse to support physicians in patient care and education. The RN will assist in exams, treatments, and teaching patients about care plans and medications.

Ideal candidates have RN licensure in the state, IV therapy experience, and strong critical thinking. Oncology experience is a plus, and a valid driver's license may be required for travel to clinics.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The RN assists physician in the care and teaching of patients.

QUALIFICATIONS

Registered Nurse, licensed in the State of Residence, experience in IV therapy.

• - Valid OCN Certification is required.
• - The ability to assess patient needs and condition.
• - Strong critical thinking skills, as well as the ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
• - Experience with hematology/oncology patients in a clinic or hospital is preferred.
• - Valid drivers license for travel to clinics.

Current CPR certification. BLS required upon hire or must be obtained within 30 days of employment (FCS will provide BLS course within first 30 days). Fluency in the English language excellent oral and written communication skills.
