Job summary

Iowa Specialty Hospital is seeking a qualified RN to join our Obstetrics team for a full-time night position in a rural setting. The role supports CMS-funded access initiatives with a potential sign-on and relocation bonus upon multi-year employment commitment.

The RN will primarily work in OB, with periodic floating to Med-Surg and training provided for C-section circulator duties. Eligible candidates hold an Iowa RN license and relevant obstetric certifications, with 12–18 months of OB

Qualifications

• Current Iowa Registered Nurse license.
• NRP, BLS, PALS, and ACLS certification, or the ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Minimum of 12–18 months of Obstetrics nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Full-time night position in the OB Department.
• Every third weekend and holiday rotation.
• Primary assignment in the OB Department with the ability to float to the Med-Surg unit as needed.
• Training provided for RN C-section circulator responsibilities.

Unique Rural Practice Opportunity – Sign-On/Relocation Bonus Available

Join our Obstetrics team in a unique position designed to strengthen access to rural healthcare. This role is supported through funding from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) and is intended to attract experienced nurses who are relocating to and establishing residency in our rural service area. Qualified candidates may be eligible for a competitive sign-on bonus/relocation bonus in exchange for a multi-year employment commitment. Eligibility requirements apply.
