Job summary

Medical City Arlington is seeking a Registered Nurse for OBED to deliver professional nursing care in the Fetal Diagnostic Center and Labor & Delivery. You will assess patients, assign acuity, and coordinate care according to the Nursing Process, while guiding staff and students as needed.

The RN OBED role requires a BSN or ADN, ACLS, PALS/NRP, and 2+ years of OB experience. This is a night shift with rotating weekends at a 435+ bed facility offering a comprehensive benefits package.

Job Summary And Qualifications The RN OBED delivers professional nursing care to all patients in Fetal Diagnostic Center and Labor and Delivery. The RN Performs assessment and acuity assignment; follows standard of care utilizing Nursing Process in delivery of care; maintains accountability for professional decisions and actions. Daily assignment of an RN may include supervision of other nursing personnel and/or students. The employee performs all services as they may relate to patient care/treatment with consideration for age/condition of patient.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Bachelors Degree, or Associate Degree
• 2+ Years In OBED preferred
