Job summary

Northshore Home Health Care in Louisiana is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide professional bedside care, assist physicians, administer medications, change dressings, and monitor vital signs to support patient comfort and well-being.

You will lead and collaborate with the care team, ensure aseptic techniques, maintain accurate records, and adhere to clinical standards across shifts in a full-time role. Louisiana RN license required; ACLS within 30 days; PALS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school with the ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• Current Louisiana State RN License.
• BLS certification; ACLS required within 30 days of employment; PALS preferred.
• SAMA certification required.

• Participates as a primary nurse, team member, or leader in planning and delivering patient care.
• Ensures safe aseptic techniques and procedures are followed.
• Offers leadership and guidance to support staff within the department.
