Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Nursery and Post-Partum unit in Highland Park, IL. This full-time role offers 36 hours weekly, with 19:00–07:30 shifts and weekend rotation, including on-call duties per unit requirements.

A $25,000 sign-on bonus is available for applicants with 18 months LDRP experience. Responsibilities include providing safe nursing care, directing unlicensed staff, and coordinating with the care team to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing.
• Current IL nursing license required.
• BSN strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe, effective nursing care in the LDRP.
• Plan, implement, and evaluate the patient plan of care using the nursing process.
• Guide unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering care.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes and continuity of care.
• Contribute to safety and high-quality patient experience.

Hourly Pay Range: $37.25 - $57.74 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Sign on Bonus: $25,000: To be eligible for the sign on bonus, must have 18 months of LDRP experience.

Position: Registered Nurse -Nursery and Post-Partum

Location: Highland Park, IL

Full Time/Part Time: Full time, 36 hours per week

Hours: 1900--0730, with weekend rotation

On Call: per unit requirements 12 hours per 6 week schedule

Required Travel: Float to Post-Partum Evanston Hospital

What you will do:

• Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care in the LDRP
• Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care
• Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care
• Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care
• Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience

What you will need:

• Education: Graduate of a NLN accredited school of nursing required; BSN strongly preferred
• Certification: BLS/CPR certification for the Healthcare Provider required ( American Heart Association)
• License: Current professional Nursing Licensure in the State of IL required
• Experience: 1 year of acute care nursing experience or 1 year labor and delivery/post-partum experience preferred
• Unique or Preferred Skills: Labor and Delivery/post-partum experience
