Job summary

UMass Memorial Health is seeking a Registered Nurse to oversee patient care from admission to discharge using the Nursing Process. The role requires Massachusetts licensure and ongoing certification including BLS, with ACLS preferred if current. A BSN is highly preferred for this position.

Qualifications

• Current Massachusetts nursing licensure and registration is required.
• BLS certification is required for every RN; ACLS certification is current if applicable.
• BSN degree is preferred for this position.

Position Qualifications

License/Certification/Education:

• Required:
  • Current Massachusetts Nursing licensure and registration.
  • BLS is a requirement for every RN unless advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) certification is current, in addition to any unit specific certifications and competencies.
• Preferred:
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing highly preferred.

Experience/Skills:

• Required:
  • Thorough knowledge of the discipline of Nursing.
