Job summary

Virtua Health in New Jersey seeks a Registered Nurse for per diem, part-time shifts across Willingboro and other non-union sites. The RN will screen patients for stress testing, monitor during procedures, perform EKGs, IVs, and coordinate with physicians.

Requires 0–1 years experience, associate degree, NJ RN license; salary hourly range $44.61–$61.97; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 403(b), PTO, tuition assistance. This role offers flexible per diem scheduling.

Qualifications

• 0–1 year of RN experience required; 2–4 years preferred.
• Associate degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs an assessment of the patient, leading to development, implementation and evaluation of a plan of care.
• Administers, monitors and documents therapeutic interventions and regimes.

• Educates patient and family/responsible party regarding disease process, individual care needs, wellness, safety issues, etc.

Location: Burlington Hospital - 218 A Sunset Rd Remote Type: On‑Site Employment Type: Employee Employment Classification: Per Diem Time Type: Part time Work Shift: 1st Shift (United States of America) Total Weekly Hours: 0 Additional Locations: Job Information: 1 year Nursing experience and Stress Test experience is highly preferred. The per diem expectations are to provide availability for 2 shifts per 6-week schedule. The position is to provide coverage the full‑time RN when on PTO. The position will be covering shifts at Willingboro though can work at any of the non‑union sites (Willingboro, Camden, 6 HOPDs) The RN in this position is responsible for screening patients (inpatient and outpatient) for stress tests appropriateness, monitoring patients during stress testing- Regular stress tests, Nuclear Stress tests (walking and pharmacological) and Stress Echos, rhythm recognition, 12 Lead EKG interpretation, assisting with Definity and bubble studies, placing IVs, and communicating with physicians.

Job Summary: The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the delivery of nursing care. The professional nurse assumes the responsibility and accountability for the appropriate delegation of patient care to other members of the health care team.

Hourly Rate: $44.61 - $61.97 The actual salary/rate will vary based on applicant’s experience as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
