Job summary

Mercy is seeking a registered nurse to apply the nursing process and coordinate comprehensive patient care. You will be accountable for the care of assigned patients and collaborate with other departments to ensure safe, effective outcomes.

Responsibilities include evaluating care effectiveness, upholding patient rights and confidentiality, and aligning practice with Mercy Service Standards and mission. A compassionate team approach and commitment to quality are essential.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a school of nursing (ADN, Diploma, or BSN).
• Must hold current RN license in the hiring state or a compact licensure.
• Basic Life Support certification is required within 30 days of hire; additional unit-specific certifications may be required.

Position Details:

Education: Graduated from a school of nursing (Associate's Degree, Diploma, or BSN).
Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

• OCN (Oncology Certified Nurse)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• PEARS (Pediatric Assessment Recognition and Stabilization)
• S.T.A.B.L.E. (Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood Pressure, Lab Work, And Emotional Support) Six Assessment & Care Modules
• C-EFM (Fetal Monitor Certification)
• Other unit-specific certifications as required.
