Job summary

Front Porch Communities & Services is seeking a Registered Nurse in California to coordinate, supervise and direct CNAs and LVN Charge Nurse staff at Spring Lake Village. The role ensures resident needs are met in line with Federal and State regulations and company policy.

This full-time position offers benefits and a 4/2 night schedule. Responsibilities include patient assessments, care plan evaluations, medication administration, and collaboration with physicians to deliver quality care while

Qualifications

• Active RN license in California.
• Experience in skilled nursing or geriatric care preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Federal and State regulations and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise CNAs and LVN staff to meet resident care needs.
• Review referrals when admissions or leadership coverage is unavailable.
• Perform patient assessments and plan of care evaluations.
• Administer medications and other nursing interventions as ordered.
• Maintain accurate documentation per regulatory and company standards.
• Ensure patient rights and safety are protected at all times.

Detailed Responsibilities

• Registered Nurse (Skilled Nursing / Care Center)
• Provides quality Customer Service efficiently to residents, families, co-workers and vendors in a manner to ensure satisfaction
• Responsible for reviewing referrals in the absence of admissions or the Director of Nursing
• Coordinates and performs patient assessments and plan of care evaluations
• Assists LVN and CNA staff with their duties as needed
• Coordinates and performs needed treatments, medications or other nursing interventions as indicated by the patient plan of care or as ordered by the physician
• Ensures all needed emergency measures are followed as per Care Center and company Policy and within standards of nursing practice
• Maintains required documentation as per Federal, State and Company Policy
• Maintains inventory of medical supplies and medications to meet patient needs Ensures that all patient rights are protected
• Arrives to work on time, in proper clean uniform, good personal hygiene and with nametag visible
• Follows highest standards of cleanliness Follows all Federal, State and company policies, health codes and guidelines in preparation and handling of foodstuffs
• Performs all duties in a safe and efficient manner Wears safety equipment as required for the job Reports any safety hazards and/or accidents to supervisor
• Attends all mandatory in-service meetings Complies with all department and facilities policies and procedures
