Job summary

Centurion Health in Sneads, FL, is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Apalachee East Correctional Institution – East Unit. The Night Shift (7pm–7:30am EST) delivers holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients under the DON and Nursing Supervisor, with a multidisciplinary team.

The RN must have an Associate’s degree, Florida RN license, CPR certification, and the ability to obtain security clearance.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required.
• Florida RN license.
• CPR certification.
• Ability to obtain security clearance (drug screen and background check).

Responsibilities

• Provide holistic nursing care to incarcerated patients.
• Work under the DON and Nursing Supervisor as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in a correctional setting.
• Maintain documentation and compliance with facility policies.

NIGHT SHIFT

Centurion is proud to be the provider of medical and mental health services to the Florida Department of Corrections.

We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team at Apalachee Correctional Institution- East Unit located in Sneads, Florida.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Medical) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of the Director of Nursing (DON) and/or Nursing Supervisor and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to identify, assess, and respond to a wide range of physical, psychological, and social needs of patients.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Florida Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: Nights, 7pm-7:30am EST; every other weekend rotation.

36 hours per week.
