Job summary

Centurion Health is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team at Wakulla Correctional Institution- RCC in Crawfordville, FL. Night shift, $40-$46/hr, with comprehensive benefits including health, dental and 401(k).

The RN will assess, administer treatments, educate patients, document care, and coordinate with doctors, behavioral health professionals, and correctional staff to ensure quality healthcare for incarcerated patients.

Qualifications

• RN license required or ability to obtain one.
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required.
• Ability to obtain security clearance, to include drug screen and background check.

Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a full-time Registered Nurse to join our team at Wakulla Correctional Institution- RCC located in Crawfordville, Florida.

The Registered Nurse (RN) (Mental Health) is responsible for providing nursing care to incarcerated patients, including conducting health assessments, administering medications and treatments, providing patient education, documenting care, and coordinating with other members of the interdisciplinary team. The RN works closely with doctors, behavioral health professionals, and correctional staff to ensure patients have access to quality healthcare services while incarcerated, participating in and leading group classes for incarcerated patients as needed.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree required
• Registered Nurse (RN) license or ability to obtain one required
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check

Available Shift: Nights, 7PM-7:30AM; rotating weekends
