Job summary

Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center, a secure inpatient psychiatric hospital, is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide professional nursing care, assess patient needs, and develop individualized plans within AMRTC NOC Units B and C. This full-time night-shift position offers duties including discharge planning and group programming support.

Minimum qualifications include Minnesota RN licensure eligibility; preferred experience in mental health settings.

Anoka Metro Regional Treatment Center is a secure inpatient psychiatric hospital serving adults with mental illness in a large, campus-based setting. The population also includes individuals civilly committed for specialized care, such as competency for criminal court (Rule 20), emergency 48-hour bed holds, and co-occurring mental illness/chemical dependency. Located just 15 minutes north of the Twin Cities metro, this modern facility offers compassionate, person-centered care in a pleasant environment appreciated by patients and employees alike.

Minimum Qualifications

• Possess or be eligible for licensure as a Registered Nurse in Minnesota. Future Registered Nurses who are within six (6) months of graduating and taking their NCLEX-RN are encouraged to apply. Contingent job offers may be made upon successful completion of degree and passing of NCLEX-RN.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a mental health setting
