Valley Vista in Bradford, Vermont is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care in a substance use disorder treatment setting. The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care while collaborating with the treatment team. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, administering medications, and coordinating with various healthcare professionals.
The successful candidate will hold an active RN license in Vermont, possess a degree in nursing, and have current BLS certification. Experience in addiction treatment and knowledge of trauma-informed care is preferred.
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides comprehensive nursing care to patients in a substance use disorder (SUD) treatment setting, including detoxification and/or residential services. The RN is responsible for independent assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care, and for coordinating services across the interdisciplinary treatment team. In accordance with Vermont law, the RN practices within a full scope of nursing, including assessment, diagnosis, care planning, and evaluation of patient outcomes.
