Job summary

AdventHealth in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse for PRN Night shifts to assess, plan and deliver high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. You will administer medications, monitor responses, and provide education to patients and families.

Strong critical care knowledge and teamwork are essential to success. The role requires Florida RN licensure, BLS, and NRP; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have RN license in Florida

• Excellent communication and organization demonstrated in clinical care

Job Description

Schedule: PRN Nights

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to gather data on health status and needs.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on assessment findings and medical diagnoses.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately as prescribed, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.
• Monitor and evaluate patient responses to interventions, adjusting care plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
