Job summary

HCA Florida Northwest Hospital is hiring a Registered Nurse for the Level III NICU to deliver safe, evidence‑based care to newborns and support families. You will coordinate with a multidisciplinary team and supervise assigned staff in the NICU.

Required qualifications include Florida RN license or compact licensure, nursing degree from an accredited school, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and STABLE certifications with specified timelines. Training and growth opportunities are available.

Qualifications

• Must hold Florida RN license or recognized compact licensure.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• BLS certification required; must be obtained within 30 days.
• ACLS certification required; must be obtained within 30 days.
• NRP certification required; must be obtained within 90 days.
• STABLE certification required; must be obtained within 60 months.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe and effective nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process in the NICU.
• The NICU RN is responsible for the direction and supervision of assigned personnel delivering patient care.

Education

Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing

Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure

Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification

Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification

Current Neonate Resuscitate (NRP) certification

Current STABLE certification

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Recognized Compact Licensure (subject to Florida State Licensing Requirements, including/not limited to ongoing eligibility and duration provisions)
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Current Neonate Resuscitate (NRP) certification or must be obtained within 90 days of employment start date Current STABLE certification or must be obtained within 60 months of employment start date
