Educate and support parents and families regarding infant care and treatment plans.
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly.
Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care.
Delegate responsibilities and coordinate tasks among healthcare team members.
Maintain accurate patient documentation and clinical records.

Unit Information

The Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) provides advanced care for critically ill or premature newborns requiring intensive monitoring and specialized treatment.

The unit is designated as a Level III or Level IV NICU, according to the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and treats infants with life-threatening conditions requiring advanced respiratory support, surgical care, and continuous monitoring.

Shift: Night Shift

Hours: 36 hours per week (3x12-hour shifts)
