Registered Nurse - Cardiothoracic Step Down Unit, 3100/6100 at Duke University Hospital
Unit Description
The CT Surgery Step Down 3100/6100 unitis designed to provide care for adult patients greater than 14 years old who need less monitoring than those in the Intensive Care Unit, but still require more monitoring than a routine floor. This area cares for complex patients with diagnoses such as pre/post cardiothoracic surgery including but not limited to coronary artery bypass grafts, heart valve repair and replacements, aortic and aneurysm repairs, wedge resections, lobectomies, pneumonectomies, heart transplants, lung transplants, and ventricular assist devices.
Shifts: (3) 12 hour shifts. (7 AM-7 PM or 7 PM-7 AM) Day, night, and rotating shifts
Duties and Responsibilities of this LevelRequired at least 1 Year of experience as RN for Experienced Nurse roles
No nursing experience required for New Grad RN Roles..
