Job summary

Yuma Regional Medical Center seeks a Registered Nurse New Grad for an inpatient training role to develop competency under the guidance of experienced nurses. You will apply theoretical knowledge to clinical care and provide safe nursing practice with supervision.

You will perform patient assessments, charting, discharge teaching for patients and families, and collaborate with the health care team. AZ RN licensure and BLS are required; EPIC experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in nursing and RN licensure (AZ or compact)

Listed is the base hiring salary range offered for this position. Actual salaries may vary depending on factors, including but not limited to skills and experience. The salary range listed is just one component of the total rewards/compensation package offered to candidates.

Summary

The Registered Nurse New Grad is a training/orientation position to develop the skills, knowledge, and critical reasoning to that of a competent registered nurse in an inpatient setting. Pursues experiences that serve to establish a basis upon which to guide practice and is expected to provide safe care with supervision and guidance from experienced nurses. Incorporates theoretical knowledge into clinical situations and is able to perform basic skills and carry out a plan of care. Identifies abnormal findings, but may seek consultation for solutions. Practice is primarily guided by Preceptor, referencing policies, procedures, and standards.
