Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club is actively hiring a Registered Nurse New Grad. The role focuses on delivering continuous, high-quality nursing care, evaluating patient conditions, and preserving safety and comfort across all patient interactions.

The nurse may assist physicians in procedure areas using sterile technique and conscious sedation when needed.

Competenze

• Graduate of accredited nursing program.
• BSN preferred.
• Current Texas RN License.
• BLS; ACLS and PALS/ENPC within 30 days’ hire.

Mansioni

• Provide comprehensive nursing care from admission through discharge.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with sterile technique and monitoring.
• Monitor patient safety, privacy, and comfort at all times.
• Assess and evaluate patient condition and adjust care plans accordingly.

Registered Nurse New Grad at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Trophy Club:

The Registered Nurse New Grad provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, including conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications

Education:

• Graduate of accredited school of professional nursing.
• BSN preferred.

Licensure/Certification:

• Current Texas RN License
• BLS, must get ACLS and PALS/ENPC within 30 days’ hire

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Demonstrates knowledge and skill level necessary to assess patient’s psychosocial, educational and physical needs, as well as the ability to address these needs in an age-appropriate manner in the pediatric, adolescent, adult and/ or geriatric patient population.
• Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
• Good organization habits.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly, strong knowledge vase relative to surgery procedures and management of the surgical patient
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit
• Understands principles of aseptic technique and the implementation
• Excellent teaching skills
• Experience with Electronic Healthcare Records
