Florida Orthopaedic Institute Surgery Center-Citrus Park in Tampa, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse New Grad to join our anesthesia and perioperative care team. You will provide continuous nursing care, monitor patients during recovery from general anesthesia or sedation, and collaborate with physicians to ensure safety and comfort.

The ideal candidate is a graduate of an accredited RN program, holds an active Florida RN license, and can prioritize patient needs, communicate clearly, and apply

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active Florida RN license.
• BLS and ACLS required, PALS if required by the center
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet the needs of patients and the unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Responsibilities

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for all patients.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with tasks and sterile technique as needed.
• Care for patients emerging from anesthesia and/or sedation.

Registered Nurse New Grad at Florida Orthopaedic Institute Surgery Center-Citrus Park

The Registered Nurse provides continuity and quality nursing care for all patients, with continual evaluation of the patient's condition, providing patient safety, comfort, and privacy at all times. May assist the physicians in the procedure rooms with various tasks, conscious sedation, and utilizing sterile techniques as deemed appropriate. Will provide total comprehensive patient care to patients emerging from general anesthesia and/or sedation; assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of the patient and family in preparation for discharge

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
