McLeod Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Neurosurgery/Neurology nights in Florence, SC. This on-site role requires an active RN license in SC or a multi-state compact and a BSN? (Associate degree in Nursing as stated). Sign-on bonuses are offered: $25k for 1+ year experience and $20k for new graduates.

The RN will perform assessments, care planning, hourly rounds, and participate in evidence-based practice while growing professionally within a supportive hospital system.

Qualifications

• Must graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
• Active SC or compact RN license required
• Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; additional unit certifications may be required

Sign On Bonus Available

$25k for RN with 1+ yrs of clinical / bedside experience.

$20K for New Graduate RN

Essential Functions

Assesses needs of patients as assigned based on data collected through history, observation, physical examination, and analysis of diagnostic data. Provides appropriate nursing interventions, consistent with the Plan of Care and standards of practice, incorporating the Physician’s prescribed medical plans of care. Using service excellence standards, conducts Hourly Rounds. Fosters an environment that demonstrates caring, compassion, and respect for all patients, families, and visitors. Contributes to the department growth and performance through hospital-system initiatives cultivating nursing involved Evidence Based Practices. Demonstrates continued professional growth through setting goals and participating in educational offerings.

Job Type: Full time; 72 hours biweekly; as scheduled as needed

Required Education/Experience

• Graduate from an accredited registered nursing program
• Must possess a valid South Carolina or compact (multi-state) RN license.
• This position requires an active Basic Life Support certification, as well as additional certifications per unit requirements.
