Job summary

Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for the Neuroscience IMC/PCU Stroke Team in downtown Jacksonville. You will provide comprehensive care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with physicians and other departments to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifying candidates have 1-2 years of clinical nursing experience, an ASN (BSN preferred), and BLS certification. This is a day shift position offering a sign-on bonus and competitive pay rates.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years clinical nursing experience.
• Associate of Science in Nursing is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide care to patients with medical, surgical or other conditions on the Neuroscience IMC/PCU Stroke Team.
• Educate patients and families about disease processes and plans of care.
• Interact with physicians and other hospital departments to coordinate care.
• Serve as patient advocate and participate in unit activities
