Job summary

Northwestern Medicine is hiring a Registered Nurse Neuromuscular for 8-hour evening shifts. This 0.6FTE part-time position offers compensation from $37.00 to $59.20 per hour.

The role encompasses the full nursing process, interdisciplinary collaboration, and patient- and family-centered care in a fast-paced hospital setting. Required ADN or BSN or signed learning agreement, BLS CPR, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• ADN or higher nursing degree (ie. BSN) or signed learning agreement required upon hire.
• BLS CPR certification through American Heart Association.
• Analytical skills necessary to assess a patient's condition and utilize the nursing process and professional judgment in providing comprehensive patient care.
• Ability to interact with patients, families, medical personnel and other members of the health care team.
• Ability to perform effectively and efficiently in stressful, urgent situations.
• Cognizant of customer needs related to culture, age, developmental level and diagnoses.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Previous rehabilitation nursing work experience.

Required:
