Job summary

Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL is seeking a day-shift Neuro RN for the Neuro/Stroke Unit. This 36-hour-per-week position requires 3x12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays, to provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care.

You will work in a 645-bed, teaching hospital known for its neuroscience and rehabilitation programs, emphasizing safe discharge planning and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Completed an accredited nursing program.
• RN license issued by the state.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• NIHSS and/or SCRN certifications preferred but not required.
• New grads are welcome to apply.

• As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.

Adults Wide range of diagnoses, stroke, spinal cord injury, brain injury, neurological conditions. Teamwork, high emphasis on patients being ready to go home. Communication, hard-working, multi-tasking, engagement. Collaboration

We’re Looking For:

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
• NIHSS and/or SCRN certifications preferred but not required
• New Grads are welcome to apply!
