AdventHealth in Littleton, Colorado, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift. You will assess patients, develop and implement care plans, administer medications, and educate families. Collaboration with the care team, accurate documentation, and ongoing professional development are essential.

Salary range is posted as $34.60–$59.83 per hour with benefits from Day One. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible candidates, with relocation support as applicable.

Qualificações

• Associate's of Nursing required.
• Registered Nurse license required.
• Fluent in English (read, verbal and written).
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to work as a team within a unit.
• Knowledge of nursing care methods and procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate patient care and ensure teamwork.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, care activities, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and make adjustments to improve outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and families.
• Supervise and delegate care to team members to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care.

Job Description:

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the physiological, psychological, developmental, sociocultural, spiritual, and lifestyle factors of patients.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and standards of care, regularly evaluating and revising these plans as necessary.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely, following physician orders and hospital protocols, and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, medications, and self-care strategies to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with medical staff and ancillary departments to coordinate and optimize patient care, ensuring effective communication and teamwork.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information, care activities, interventions, and outcomes in the medical record.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of care plans and interventions continuously, making necessary adjustments to improve patient health and achieve positive outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols, safety standards, and regulatory requirements to maintain a safe healthcare environment.
• Provide emotional support and therapeutic communication to patients and their families, addressing their emotional and psychological needs.
• Supervise and delegate care provided by members of the healthcare team to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Engage in continuous professional development and participate in performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and operational efficiency.
• Respond to code situations promptly and effectively, providing necessary interventions to stabilize patients.
